Game 54: Pacers (31-22) vs. Nets (23-28)

Although the Nets are several games back of the Pacers they sit just behind Indiana as the 7th place team currently in the Eastern Conference. The Pacers entered this game losers of 5 straight. They needed a win and this seemed like a great opportunity to right the ship. This game was tight the entire time. The Pacers led by one late but the Nets had the ball. Without Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant you would think the Nets would be lacking a guy to close out a game, but Spencer Dinwiddie has stepped up all year and he did just that once again. Dinwiddie hit a mid-range fade-away putting the Nets up by 1. Dinwiddie’s shot would be the final basket made. Nets win 105-106.

FINAL: Pacers: 105 Nets: 106

Game 55: Pacers (31-23) vs. Bucks (46-7)

You never want to go into the all-star break on a losing streak. Especially when you think your team will be competing for a higher playoff spot down the stretch. The Pacers had lost 6 straight and now welcome the best team in the league to Bankers Life Fieldhouse. However they would be without their best player, Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Pacers dominated early. The Bucks made a run at the end but it wouldn’t be enough. Pacers win 118-111 behind T.J. Warren’s 35 points on 16-19 shooting.

FINAL: Pacers: 118 Bucks: 111

The All-Star Break:

The only Pacer to make the trip to Chicago for the break was Domantas Sabonis. He competed in the skills challenge on Saturday night finishing in 2nd. Sabonis played on Sunday night for Team LeBron. He only scored 2 points but was on the winning side.
