Yesterday the Pacers announced that they would not be retaining Nate Bjorkgren as their head coach.
Bjorkgren coached only one season with the Pacers. Under Bjorkgren the Pacers finished with a record of 34-38, they ended their long streak of consecutive winning seasons at home, and they failed to make the playoffs.
Reports came out towards the end of the season saying that Bjorkgren had lost control of the locker room.
The Pacers are rumored to be seeking a more experienced coach to lead a roster that they feel can make a run in the playoffs.
