Even though the Pacers were part of the NBA’s Draft Lottery it was unlikely that their position would change much. The Pacers had only a 1% chance to get the number 1 pick in the draft. The 13th pick has been a lucky one for a few teams over the past 7 years. Tyler Herro, Donovan Mitchell, Devin Booker and Zach Lavine were all taken with the 13th pick.
