The Irish escaped disaster against Toledo on Saturday. For the second week in a row, Notre Dame played a nail-biter. Notre Dame beat Toledo 32-29. They’ll host Purdue next week.
INDIANA: 1-1
The Hoosiers bounced back from their rough week 1 loss at Iowa. It was a blowout from the very beginning. Indiana beat Idaho 56-14. They will host a highly ranked Cincinatti team next week in Bloomington.
PURDUE: 2-0
The Boilermakers looked great for a second week in a row. Dominating the entire game against UCONN, winning 49-0. They’ve got a tough one next week. Purdue will travel up north to South Bend to take on Notre Dame.
BALL STATE: 1-1
The Cardinals struggled against Penn State. The Nittany Lions took over the game immediately and never looked back. Ball Stat loses their first game of the year 44-13. They’ll head to Wyoming next week.
