Purdue vs. Iowa:

Kinnick Stadium is never an easy place to play. Especially this year with the Hawkeyes playing as well as they are. Purdue went in there and dominated the whole game. O’Connell and Bell couldn’t be stopped and the defense was tough all game. Purdue gets the upset win 24-7. Purdue is now ranked 25th and host Wisconsin next week.

Indiana vs. Michigan State:

It was homecoming in Bloomington. This game marked the 4th game of the year that the Hoosiers would take on a ranked opponent. Jack Tuttle got the start under center for Indiana. It was a slow first half but Indiana led by 2. A dominant 3rd quarter from Michigan State was the difference in the game. Indiana loses their 4th game of the year 20-15. Next week doesn’t get any easier for Indiana. They’ll host Ohio State.

Ball State vs Eastern Michigan:

A big conference game for the Cardinals against Eastern Michigan. Ball State jumped out to a quick start in the 1st, but Eastern Michigan answered in the 2nd. After having a 14-point lead in the 1st quarter, Ball State only led by 3 at halftime. The game was tight all the way through the 2nd half, but the Cardinals would hold on for the 38-31 win. Former Mr. Football for Indiana, Carson Steele, had a great game for Ball State. He finished with 138 yards and a touchdown. Ball State will host Miami (OH) next week.

Notre Dame:

The Irish had the week off to prepare for USC this week in South Bend.
