The Colts lost their first game of the season to the Seahawks 16-28, starting the season off 0-1 for the 8th year in a row.

The Colts started off their first drive strong. A nice mix of run and pass and a nearly perfect start from new QB Carson Wentz gave Colts fans hope for the first 9 minutes of the game. The drive would end in a field goal and then it was the Russell Wilson show after that.

Wilson and the Seahawks offense could not be stopped. They would drive right down the field on their first drive to take a 7-3 lead and never looked back.

Wilson finished the game 18/23 for over 250 yards and 4 touchdowns. Wentz looked strong for the Colts, but it just wasn’t enough. Wentz finished the game 25/38 for 251 yards and 2 touchdowns.

The schedule for the Colts doesn’t get any easier next week. They’ll host the 1-0 LA Rams at Lucas Oil Stadium.
