#12 Notre Dame vs. #18 Wisconsin:

Notre Dame met Wisconsin in the 2021 Shamrock Series game in Chicago at Soldier Field. The game was close through the first 3 quarters, and early in the 4th quarter Wisconsin led the game 13-10. QB Jack Coan went down with an injury and was unable to return. It looked like Notre Dame could be in trouble. A kickoff return for a touchdown completely swung the momentum the other way, and two late pick-6s turned the game into a blowout late. The Irish win 41-13.

Purdue vs. Illinois:

The Boilermakers hosted the Illini for their first Big Ten game of the year. A low scoring game was tied at 6-6 heading into the 4th. The difference in the final quarter was a touchdown for Purdue while Illinois had to settle for another field goal. Purdue moves to 3-1 with the 13-9 win.

Indiana at Western Kentucky:

IU looking for a bounce back win after a frustrating loss last week at home to Cincinatti. The Hoosiers jumped out to a quick 14-0 lead and it seemed like they may run away with the game, but the Hilltoppers kept it close throughout entire game. Hoosiers hold on for a close 33-31 win. IU now 2-2 on the season will head to Penn State next weekend.

Ball State vs. Toledo:

The first conference game for the Cardinals as they played host to Toledo. In a back-and-forth 1st half Ball State trailed 9-14 heading into the 2nd half of the game. After a scoreless 3rd quarter, the Cardinals couldn’t quite make it over the hump to complete the comeback in the 4th. Toledo wins 22-12. Ball State drops to 1-3. They’ll play host to Army next week.
