Coming in to the game the Colts were 0-3 and desperate for a win. Week 4 presented an interesting opponent, the Miami Dolphins. After an injury to starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, it would be former Colt Jacoby Brissett under center.
The Colts got off to another slow start and trailed Miami 3-0 at the end of the 1st, but it was all Colts after that. They took over on both sides of the ball. Indianapolis led 7-3 at the end of the half, and 17-3 at the end of the 3rd quarter. A back-and-forth 4th quarter wouldn’t be enough for the Dolphins. Colts get their 1st win of the season 27-17.
Carson Wents threw for 228 yards and added 2 touchdowns. Jonathan Taylor was strong on the ground. He rushed for 103 yards on 16 carries and got in the endzone once as well.
The Colts now 1-3 on the season and somehow are just one game out of the division lead. Next week the Colts will have a primetime matchup in Baltimore against the Ravens on Monday night.
